Turn an Excel sheet into QR codes, in one go

Choose your .xlsx or CSV file, pick the column with the links and the one that names each file, and download every code as PNG, SVG or a printable PDF sheet.

Your list

CSV, TSV or Excel .xlsx. You can also paste a list or copied cells below.

      Error correction
      #000000
      #ffffff
      Logo in the middle

A logo hides part of every code, so error correction is set to High when you add one.

      Printable sheet

The spreadsheet is read on this device and never uploaded.

Style them once, check the preview, and download every code in a ZIP or as a printable sheet of labels. Turn a spreadsheet of links, names or codes into a whole set of QR codes in one go, free and private in your browser.

How to make QR codes in bulk

      1. Press Choose a spreadsheet, or paste your list into Your list or table. Try an example fills in sample data.
      2. Under Columns, check which column Goes in the code and which gives the File names. Add Text under each code if you want labels.
      3. Tick The first row is a header if your list starts with column names.
      4. Style the codes: Dots, Corners, Code colour, Background, Quiet zone, and optionally a Logo in the middle.
      5. Choose the PNG size and whether the ZIP holds PNG, SVG or Both.
      6. Press Download ZIP, or make a Printable sheet (PDF) on A4 or US Letter.

      From spreadsheet to codes

Open a CSV, TSV or Excel .xlsx file, or paste cells copied from any spreadsheet. The column holding links is picked for you, and a column with names or labels is used for the file names. Change either choice with the menus. Blank rows are skipped, file names are made safe and unique, and the ZIP includes an index.csv that matches each file to its contents.

Older .xls and Numbers files need saving as .xlsx or CSV first. Only the first sheet of a workbook is read.

      Styling your codes

Choose square, rounded or round dots, and square, rounded or circle corners. Pick your own colours, but keep strong contrast between code and background. Error correction sets how much damage a code can survive, which matters most if you add a logo in the middle. The quiet zone is the blank border around the code; leave it on 4 modules for the most reliable scanning.

      Printing a sheet of labels

The PDF sheet lays your codes out in a grid on A4 or US Letter, with the text you choose under each one. Everything is drawn as vector shapes, so it prints sharp at any size. Print one page at 100% scale on plain paper first and hold it against your label sheet to check the alignment before printing the whole batch.

Smaller grids scan from further away. A code about 3 cm wide reads comfortably from around 30 cm, which suits tables, shelves and name badges.

Labels per page can be 6, 12, 24, 40 or 65, and Light cut lines can be switched on to help with cutting.

      Static codes that keep working

Every code holds its content directly in the pattern. Nothing sits between the phone and your link, so there is no subscription to keep up and nothing that can be switched off later. If a destination might move, point the codes at addresses on your own website that you can redirect yourself.

      Common uses

      • Table cards for a restaurant or event, each linking to a menu or form.
      • Shelf, asset and equipment labels for offices, workshops and classrooms.
      • Name badges and tickets for an event.
      • Product packaging that links to instructions or reviews.

For a single code, use the QR code generator. For linear barcodes, try the barcode generator.

      Questions

How many codes can I make at once?

Large lists work, but very big batches take longer and use more memory, so a computer suits them better than a phone.

      Is my list uploaded?

No. The codes are drawn in your browser.

      Will the codes expire?

No. They are static, so they work as long as the destination does.

      Where to next

Carry on with what you just made, still on your device.
