  4. Add Small print at the bottom if you need it.

  6. Press Copy HTML to take the page, and use QR as PNG or QR as SVG for the code.

A link page you own

Hosted link pages are handy, but they add their branding, track your visitors and can change their terms. This page is a single HTML file with no scripts, no trackers and no outside fonts, so it loads instantly and works on any host forever.

Tips for a good link page

  • Put the most important link first, such as your shop, booking page or latest video.
  • Keep labels short and clear, such as Book a table or Read my blog.
  • Use a sharp, square photo or logo.
  • Keep it to five or six links. Too many choices means fewer clicks.
  • Test every link on your phone before you share the page.

Who uses it

Creators, freelancers, small shops, bands and clubs, anyone who has room for only one link in a social media bio. To plan posts, use the content calendar.

Questions

Where can I put the file?

Anywhere that serves web pages: your own website, GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages or the web space that comes with many domains. Many hosts look for a file called index.html, so rename it if yours does. Then put the address in your bio.

What is the QR code for?

Type the address where the page will live and the QR code opens it. Put it on flyers, packaging, business cards or a sign at your stall. Test it with your phone once the page is online.

Can I change the page later?

Yes. Your page is kept on this device, so come back, edit it and download it again, then replace the old file on your host. The QR code stays the same as long as the address does.

Which links work?

Web addresses, email addresses and phone numbers. Only safe link types are allowed, so a mistyped or harmful link is left out of the page.
