  1. Press Open a photo.
  2. On Crop and rotate, choose a Shape such as Free, Original, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16 or 3:2. Use Rotate and flip and Straighten as needed.
  3. On Adjust, change the look of the photo with the sliders.
  4. On Filters, try a ready-made look.
  5. On Watermark, add text with your own Size, Opacity, Position and Colour (White or Black), or Repeat across the photo.
  6. On Save, choose the Format (JPG, PNG or WebP) and the Quality, then press Save photo or Download.

Hold to compare shows the original while you press it. Reset crop and rotation and Reset adjustments undo your changes.

Crop for every platform

Square 1:1 suits profile pictures and grid posts, 4:5 is the tallest shape most feeds show in full, 9:16 fills a phone screen for stories and reels, 16:9 fits video thumbnails and slides, and 3:2 matches most camera sensors for prints. Drag the corners or edges of the box to resize it and drag inside to move it.

Straighten a tilted horizon

Move the straighten slider until the horizon or a doorframe lines up with the grid. The photo zooms in just enough to hide the empty corners, so you never get white wedges at the edges.

Fast preview, full-size result

While you edit, you see a smaller copy so sliders respond instantly even on a large photo. When you save, every change is applied again to the original pixels, so nothing is lost to the preview. The saved file also leaves out the hidden camera and location details stored in the original.

Choosing a format

  • JPG is the best choice for photos you will share or upload. Files are small and open everywhere.
  • PNG keeps every pixel exact and suits screenshots and graphics.
  • WebP gives smaller files at the same quality for websites and modern apps.

Tips

  • Crop first, then adjust. It is easier to judge brightness once the framing is right.
  • Small changes look best. Heavy filters can hide detail.
  • Use a watermark with low opacity so it does not distract from the photo.
  • To shrink a photo to a size limit, use compress image to size.

Common uses

Profile pictures, product photos for an online shop, social media posts, and family photos. To remove the background, try background remover, and to hide faces use blur faces.
