Flyers are drawn on your device. Your photos and text are not uploaded. Make a flyer or poster for an event, sale, class or notice, then print it or share it online. It is free and private.

How to make a flyer

  1. Choose a Template, or press Try an example.
  2. Under Words, write the Headline, Subheading and Details, plus When and Where.
  3. Add a QR code if you want one: fill in Opens this link and the Text next to it.
  4. Under Pictures, use Add a photo and Add a logo.
  5. Under Look and paper, choose the Paper (A4, Letter, A3 poster or Tabloid poster), the Font and the colours.
  6. Press Download PDF for printing, or save a PNG for sharing online.

Four layouts that print well

Bold puts a big headline over a full-width photo with the details in a colour band. Split gives the photo half the page and the words the other half. Poster sets white text over a darkened photo for walls and windows, and Minimal keeps it to type, colour and space. Every layout keeps text away from the edges, so home printers that cannot print to the edge do not cut it off.

Tips for a flyer people read

  • Lead with one clear message. A reader should understand it in three seconds.
  • Put the date, time and place where they can be found at a glance.
  • Use a large, sharp photo and keep the words short.
  • Leave empty space. Crowded flyers get ignored.
  • Test the QR code with your phone before printing a stack.

Common uses

Garage sales, school and club events, community notices, open mics, classes and small business offers. For a matching social post, try the carousel maker, and for awards at an event, certificate maker.

Questions

PDF or PNG?

Print the PDF. It is made at print resolution for the paper size you chose. Use the PNG to post the flyer online, send it in a chat or add it to an email.

What should the QR code open?

A page with more about the event or offer: a booking link, a menu, a map or a sign-up form. Keep the text next to it short, such as Scan to book, and test it with your phone before printing.

Which photos work best?

Large, sharp photos with space around the subject. For A3 posters start from a photo at least 2000 pixels wide. The photo is cropped to fill its area, centred on the middle.

Can it use my logo and colours?

Yes. If you saved them in Your Snowkit, the colours and logo are filled in for you. You can also pick other colours or add a different logo here.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The flyer is drawn in your browser.
