Certificates for everyone on your list

Design one certificate, paste your names or a spreadsheet, and save a single PDF with a certificate for every person.

Certificates

Names

One name per line, or spreadsheet rows with a Name column.

With spreadsheet rows, other columns can go in the text, such as {{Course}}. A Date column sets the date for each person.

Your names, logo and signature stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded. Make award, completion and participation certificates for one person or a whole class, and download them as a single print-ready PDF. It is free and private.

How to make certificates

  1. Under Names, paste one name per line, or press Open a CSV. Try the example fills in sample names.
  2. Under Words, fill in the Title, the Line above the name, the Reason, the Date, the Organisation, Signed by and Their role.
  3. Under Colour and logo, choose a Colour or Use my brand colour, and Add a logo or Use my logo.
  4. Choose the Paper: A4 landscape or Letter landscape.
  5. Check each certificate with the preview arrows.
  6. Press Make the PDF.

From a list of names to a stack of certificates

Paste one name per line, or copy rows from a spreadsheet with a Name column, and every person gets their own page in one PDF, ready to print. Long names shrink to fit the line, and the preview arrows let you check each one before you save.

Personal details on each certificate

With spreadsheet rows, any column can be used in the title, the reason or the other text by writing its name in curly brackets, such as for completing {{Course}} with {{Score}}. A Date column replaces the date for that person. This works the same way as mail merge.

Your colours, logo and signature

Choose a style and a colour, and add your logo as a PNG or JPG. If you have saved your brand colour, logo and signature in Your Snowkit, they are one click away. Classic and Bright add a round seal with your organisation’s initials.

Tips for good certificates

  • Proofread every name. A misspelt name on a certificate is hard to forgive.
  • Keep the reason to a short sentence so it sits neatly on the page.
  • Print a single page first on plain paper to check the margins.
  • Use thick paper or card for awards that will be handed out.
  • Use a logo with a transparent background so it blends into the design.

Common uses

Teachers rewarding effort, coaches and clubs giving out participation awards, small businesses certifying course completion, and event organisers thanking volunteers. For printed handouts, see the flyer maker.

Questions

How many certificates can I make at once?

Large lists work. Each person gets a page in the same PDF, though very big lists take longer on a phone.

Can each certificate say something different?

Yes. Put the details in spreadsheet columns and use their names in curly brackets in the text.

Are the names uploaded?

No. Everything is made in your browser.
