The time left shows in the browser tab.
Time laps to the hundredth of a second, or run several named countdowns at once with a sound when each one ends. Times are worked out from the clock, not by counting ticks, so they stay right even when the tab sits in the background. It is free, with no ads and no sign-up.

Stopwatch with laps
Start, then press Lap at each split. Every lap shows its own time and the running total, with the fastest lap in green and the slowest in red. Download the laps as a CSV file to open in a spreadsheet. The stopwatch and its laps are saved in this browser, so a reload carries on where you left off.
Several countdown timers
Pick a quick timer or type hours, minutes and seconds, and give it a name like “Pasta” or “Laundry”. Run as many as you need side by side. The browser tab shows the time left on the next timer to finish, and each one plays the sound you chose when it reaches zero. Press +1 min to add a minute without stopping. The sounds are Chime, Bell, Beeps and Digital.
Why the time stays right
Browsers slow down pages in background tabs, so a timer that counts ticks drifts. This one stores the moment you pressed start and works out the time from the clock on every update, and the end sound is scheduled ahead with the browser’s audio engine. Nothing is sent anywhere; your timers live only on this device. Keep the tab open while a timer runs, because the sound will not play if the tab is closed or the computer is asleep.
