Every deadline, planned and on track

Add your assignments and exams with their due dates, track how far along each one is, and put every deadline in your calendar with a reminder.

    Add an assignment

Saved on this device as you go

Your assignments are saved in this browser. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. List every assignment, test and exam with its due date, track your progress and add the deadlines to your calendar. It is free and private.

How to add and track assignments

    1. Press Add and type what the work is in What.
    2. Enter the Course and the Due date. Add a time if there is one.
    3. Put anything useful in Notes, such as the word count or the marking rules.
    4. Press Add to save it.
    5. Drag the progress slider as you work, and tick the assignment when it is handed in.
    6. Use Clear finished to tidy the list when a term ends.

Try examples loads sample work so you can see the layout before you add your own.

Planning with due dates and progress

Add each assignment, test or exam as soon as you hear about it. The list puts overdue work first, then what is due in the next seven days, then everything later. Drag the progress slider as you go, so you can see at a glance which pieces need time this week. Tick an assignment when it is handed in.

    Reminders in your calendar

Add all to calendar saves a calendar file with every unfinished deadline. Open it on your phone or computer to add them to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Each one has a reminder the morning before it is due, or a day before when you set a time. The calendar button on an assignment saves just that one.

    Breaking big work into steps

For a long essay or project, add the steps as separate items with their own dates, such as research, first draft and final edit. Spreading the work out this way is one of the most reliable ways to avoid a last-minute rush.

Tips for staying on top of coursework

    • Enter deadlines from the syllabus on the first day. It takes ten minutes and saves many surprises.
    • Set your own due date a few days before the real one for big pieces, so there is room for edits.
    • Check the list at the start of each week and decide what gets time on which day.
    • Keep your timetable in the class schedule maker and your marks in the gradebook.

    Who uses it

School and university students, parents helping children keep track of homework, and anyone taking an evening course alongside work.

    Questions

    Is my coursework list private?

Yes. It is stored only in your browser on this device and never sent to a server.

No. It is saved automatically. It would only be lost if you clear your browser data.

Can I get reminders on my phone?

Use Add all to calendar, then open the downloaded file on your phone. Your calendar app will remind you.
