Save the prompts you use again and again. Mark the parts that change with {{variables}}, fill them in with a form, copy the result, and keep every version. Prompts are kept in this browser's storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
How to use the library, step by step
- Press New prompt, or Add examples to start with a few.
- Give it a Title and some Tags, then write the Prompt text. Put each part that changes in double braces, like {{topic}}.
- Press Save version.
- Open the Fill in form, type your values, and press Copy prompt or Download .txt.
- Use Search prompts and the sort menu to find what you need later.
How variables work
Anything in double braces becomes a field to fill in: {{customer}}, {{topic}}, {{word_count}}. Give a variable a default with a bar, like {{tone|friendly}}; the default is used whenever the field is left empty. Using the same variable twice fills both places at once. You can highlight what was filled in to check the result before copying.
Versions
Each time you save a changed prompt it becomes a new version, with an optional note about what changed. Pick an older version from the list to read it, fill it in or copy it. Saving while an older version is open makes it the newest version again, so nothing is ever overwritten.
Good prompts to keep
- Email and message templates, with blanks for names and dates.
- Study helpers, such as a summary or a quiz request for a topic you choose.
- Work templates for reports, product descriptions and meeting follow-ups.
- Coding and writing instructions you reuse with small changes.
To count how long a prompt is, use the token counter.
Questions
Where are my prompts stored?
In your browser's local storage on this device. They stay after you close the tab, but clearing site data removes them. Use Export all now and then to keep a backup file.
Can I move my library to another computer?
Yes. Export all downloads one JSON file with every prompt and version. Open the tool on the other computer and use Import JSON. Prompts that already exist are merged, keeping every version from both.
What can I import?
A file exported from this tool, or any JSON list of objects with a title or name and the prompt text in a field called prompt, body, text or content.
Does it work with any AI tool?
Yes. The filled prompt is plain text, so you can paste it into any chat assistant or API.
