Snowkit Study reads your own course material in this browser and helps you learn it. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. In browsers with built-in AI, answers are written on your device and point to the passages they came from. Everywhere else, Study shows you the exact passages that answer your question.
How to study with your own sources
- Add your lecture slides, readings or notes with Add files, Paste text or From Library.
- Ask a question in your own words. Each answer cites the page or slide it came from, so you can check it.
- Make a study guide, flashcards, a quiz or a mind map from everything you added.
- Keep a notebook for each course. Your notebooks stay in this browser.
What you can add
PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint slides, plain text, Markdown, web pages saved as HTML and CSV files. Scanned PDFs without a text layer need to go through the searchable PDF tool first. Files from Brightspace can come straight from Student home and your Library.
How answers work
Study finds the passages in your sources that best match your question. If your browser has a built-in language model, it writes a short answer using only those passages and marks each fact with a number you can click to see the source. If not, Study shows the most relevant sentences from your sources, with the same citations. Always check important answers against the source.

Are my notes uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are read in this browser and your notebooks are saved on this device.
Which browsers write answers?
Browsers with built-in AI, such as recent versions of Chrome on desktop with the on-device model available. Every other browser still finds and cites the right passages.
Can I keep what I make?
Yes. Save a study guide to your Library or download it, and download flashcards to use in the flashcards tool.
